A very fun trip to Belize City & Caye Caulker. We had a lot of fun exploring both locations, each very unique.

Day 1 – Belize Zoo & Ruins by Horse

The owner of our hotel in Belize City arranged for a taxi to drive us around for the day. We went to the Belize Zoo & rented a couple horses to get to Xunantunich ruins. My butt hurt for 3 days after riding for 4+ hours.

Day 2 – Exploring Belize City on Foot

Exploring Belize City on foot. We went to the Belize Museum, Belikan Pub and some of the touristy spots around the city.

Day 3 – Travel to Caye Caulker & Exploring

Took the water taxi to Caye Caulker, meet with our friend Matt S and explored the island.

Day 4 – Rain, Snorkeling & Night Dive

A rainy morning followed by some great snorkeling from the shore. We arranged for a night dive which was absolutely amazing. There wasn’t enough light to get good photos though.

Day 5 – Exploring Caye Caulker

Took a day off to explore the island on foot.

Day 6 – Scuba Diving

A couple of dives on the Belizean reef system. Absolutely the best diving that I have done to date.
